TWiSK presents Prahran By-election Candidates Forum in St Kilda
Free. In-person and livestreamed event.
On Saturday 8 February voters in the State district of Prahran are required to vote for a new member of State Parliament.
Large parts of St Kilda are in the Prahran district. For example, major landmarks including the St Kilda Town Hall, St Kilda Primary School, Alma Park, Temple Beth Israel and Astor Cinema are in the St Kilda parts of the Prahran electorate. Also people living in the St Kilda Road / Queens Road area every where North of the Town Hall are in the Prahran electorate.
Meet the candidates
The forum will be a structured event for you to meet the candidates, ask questions and hear their responses. It will be independently chaired to be a fair and balanced.

The Boonwurrung Land and Sea Council invite all members of the community to join this dawn ceremony to reflect, respect, and celebrate together. This dawn ceremony will feature musical performances and a smoking ceremony.
The theme for 2025 is ‘Reflect, Respect, Celebrate’.

Pride March
March with pride down Fitzroy Street in a kilometre-long parade route to Catani Gardens.
The march begins with the roaring motors of the Dykes on Bikes as per tradition. The march itself is led by the Boon Wurrung Elders, Rainbow Aboriginal Float and LGBTQIA+ youth.
You’ll be greeted at the end of the march with free entertainment, and festivities, including DJs and live performances by the iconic St Kilda beachside.

Summer Jam Basket Ball Festival 2025
