In this intimate talk, Judith will share her personal experience of how St Kilda has been her spiritual and cultural base since she arrived in Australia with her parents in 1958.  For her, St Kilda is a place made special by the continual creativity of the people who live here; a place that takes you outside yourself.

Meet Caroline de Costa, writer, activist and brilliant thinker, as she discusses her new book The Rosemary.

Caroline was the first woman in Australia to become a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology. She has written many of non-fiction on women’s health as well as crime novels set in Cairns –  Double Madness, Missing Pieces, Blood Sisters and Buried Secrets. Double Madness was short-listed for the Davitt Awards of Sisters in Crime in 2016. Caroline has also won numerous Scarlet Stiletto awards. Her latest novel, The Rosemary, is a gripping story of friendship, loss, and secrets, published in 2025 by Boolarong Press.
