Greens Back Funding for Citizen Science Lab

Pledge Match: Greens Support $400K for Citizen Science Lab at EcoCentre.

[26 March] The Greens have committed to advocate for $400,000 to complete and equip the new Port Phillip EcoCentre, including Australia’s first Citizen Science Lab, if they win the seat of Macnamara at the next federal election.
Greens Candidate for Macnamara Sonya Semmens was joined by SA Senator Sarah Hanson-Young, Greens spokesperson for environment, and Senator for Victoria Steph Hodgins-May to make this pledge.
Ms. Semmens said the $400,000 will help equip the space with everything it needs to become a vibrant, fully-equipped education and citizen science hub.
