Just one week after being elected by fellow councillors to be Mayor of Port Phillip, Cr Louise Crawford chats with TWiSK about the incoming council. With 7 out of 9 councillors new in the role, Louise says she’s hoping to facilitate a good working relationship amongst the council.
But there’s no shortage of issues passed on from the previous council, including possible changes to the frequency of household bin collection, much needed but complex supermarket redevelopments on Carlisle Street and a host of other local concerns. We hope this will be the first of many opportunities to hear direct from the Mayor about Council and community.
