“Police have interviewed a man following an alleged assault in St Kilda last year.
“The 42-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged via summons with unlawful assault.
“The charge follows a report of an incident in Acland Street on 16 September where it is alleged a man approached a child.
“As part of the investigation officers reviewed CCTV of the alleged incident.”
