Ward councillor Serge Thomann told TWiSK that Parks Victoria have now completed their stage of the project, and their contractor is on track to remove all remaining temporary fencing and fully decamp as we publish.
‘This paves the way for the next exciting phase. Our contractor, Ace Landscape Services Pty Ltd, will commence site occupation from Monday, 1 September, with construction fencing to be installed early next week. This marks the beginning of our transformation of the landside area,’ he said.
‘The project remains on schedule for completion in February 2026, and we look forward to delivering a revitalised and welcoming gateway to St Kilda Pier for the community and visitors alike.’
St Kilda Pier foreshore development is being supported by the Australian Government through the Thriving Suburbs Program and the Victorian Government for foreshore works as part of the pier redevelopment. The remainder is being funded by City of Port Phillip.
