After the success of our inaugural season, where we proudly launched the LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau and celebrated the graduation of our first cohort, we’re excited to welcome a new round of passionate voices into this inspiring program.
What is TiPS?
It’s a free workshop series designed to empower LGBTIQA+ community members to share their lived experiences through public speaking, impactful storytelling, and digital advocacy. The program is open to people from all across Victoria, offering hands-on training, community connection, and the chance to be featured in the Victorian Pride Centre’s LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau.
Program highlights:
- Runs October 2025 – January 2026
- Includes workshops, rehearsals and a public showcase
- Free to join, with travel support available for regional participants.
- We strongly encourage applications from:
- First Nations people
- Trans and gender diverse people
- People with disabilities
- Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
- Folks from regional and rural Victoria
- Community members of all ages
Whether you’re ready to share your own story or know someone who is – they want to hear from you!
