Telling it with Pride Speakers Program

Victorian Pride Centre wants to amplify LGBTIQA+ voices and spark change by equipping people to share their lived experiences through public speaking, impactful storytelling, and digital advocacy. EOI’s are open now.

After the success of our inaugural season, where we proudly launched the LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau and celebrated the graduation of our first cohort, we’re excited to welcome a new round of passionate voices into this inspiring program.

What is TiPS?

It’s a free workshop series designed to empower LGBTIQA+ community members to share their lived experiences through public speaking, impactful storytelling, and digital advocacy. The program is open to people from all across Victoria, offering hands-on training, community connection, and the chance to be featured in the Victorian Pride Centre’s LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau.

Program highlights:

  • Runs October 2025 – January 2026
  • Includes workshops, rehearsals and a public showcase
  • Free to join, with travel support available for regional participants.
  • We strongly encourage applications from:
    • First Nations people
    • Trans and gender diverse people
    • People with disabilities
    • Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
