Krystalla’s new show
Theatre Works has appointed Krystalla Pearce as its new Artistic Director and CEO.
She starts in the Artistic Director role from 9 June, before taking over the full organisation from 13 July 2026.
Most recently Producer at Red Stitch, Pearce already has strong Theatre Works ties through productions including She Is Vigilante and The Long Game.
Back to the future for Donny
More good news at PCYC, with Donny Pelsoczy returning as General Manager on 22 June.
The announcement follows lifeline funding from Council and plans to reopen the gym in July.
Donny is no stranger to the place, having spent 11 years there as Gym Manager and Deputy to the CEO.
King’s gong for Dr John
Former St Kilda mayor and social policy advocate John Spierings has been made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the King’s Birthday Honours.
The award recognises his distinguished service to social policy, the not-for-profit sector and the Port Phillip community.
John has had leadership roles in philanthropic powerhouses like The Myer Foundation and the Reichstein Foundation. He is also the co-founder of the Southside Community Foundation
