St Kilda Food Rescue, a branch of NEFRI (North East Food Rescue), needs volunteers to help collect surplus food from local supermarkets and bakeries. Our mission is to redistribute this food locally to those who need it, whether for human consumption, animal feed, or composting when no longer edible. Together, we can reduce food waste and make a positive environmental impact!
Every Thursday, we distribute this food at the St Kilda Bowling Club during school pickup hours. By volunteering, you’ll play a vital role in reducing food waste while supporting families in our area. Whether you can commit to weekly pickups or offer occasional help, every bit of support counts!
