Rhonda Small joins the race for Albert Park Ward

“A progressive community candidate.”

Rhonda Small has announced her intention to stand for election to Council as a progressive community candidate for Albert Park ward.
She provided this statement to TWiSK to introduce herself to voters in Albert Park Ward.
“As a resident for over 40 years, I believe in the generosity of our community. A good Council brings us together. It does not seek to divide us.
“If elected, I will champion:
• Investment in community: services and support;
• Stronger local action on climate change;
• Support for traders and local businesses;
• Delivering the basics: street cleaning, footpaths, waste, traffic management;
• A Council with concern for the common good, not the pursuit of narrow, divisive politics.
“I have never been a member of a political party. After years of community advocacy, I am committed to citizen participation in local democracy for a better, fairer and more sustainable future.”
