Six from eight: St Kilda City charges into grand finals
Six of the club’s eight football and netball sides have now reached grand finals, capping a standout season across the club.
Reserves Preliminary Final
Reserves: St Kilda City 5.12 (42) defeated Black Rock 4.3 (27)
Grand final: St Kilda City v Skye, Sunday at 11.45 am, Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc.
Seniors Preliminary Final
Seniors: St Kilda City 15.15 (105) defeated Black Rock 6.6 (42)
Grand final: St Kilda City v Heatherton, Sunday at 2.00 pm, Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc.
Saints keep marching in
It’s been a huge few weeks for St Kilda City, with two premierships in the bag and more finals action still to come.

Women’s Football Premiers!
A massive congratulations to our women’s football team, who claimed the premiership with a fantastic 7.8 (50) to 2.3 (15) win over Mordialloc.
A special congratulations to Megan Colman, who was named Best on Ground after an outstanding performance, including an incredible 5 goals. What a performance on the biggest stage!
A2 Netball Premiers!
Our A2 netballers also brought home the premiership, defeating Dingley 53–44 in a thrilling Grand Final.
Congratulations to the entire team, and a huge well done to Tori Steel, named Best on Court.
Football Finals Continue
The season isn’t over yet for our Seniors and Reserves, who are both still in the hunt. They’ll be back in action in the semi-finals on Sunday 30 August at Ben Kavanagh Reserve. We need the whole City family there — get down, get loud and get behind the boys!
U19s Are Back!
We are excited to announce that U19s football is returning to the Peanut Farm in 2027.
Our Football Director Matt Littlechild is locked in as coach, bringing his experience, professionalism and passion for developing young footballers to the role. This is a really exciting step for the future of our football program and our pathway for young players.
Cricket Returns to City!
We’re also thrilled to announce that Senior Cricket is returning to St Kilda City for the 2026–27 season.
Former City player Mick Morfea has been confirmed as coach-captain, with both men’s and women’s teams available.

Round 7 results
St Kilda Seniors and Reserves celebrated wins over Endeavour Hills, while the Womens score were chuffed with their big win over Officer. In Netball it was 4 wins out of 5 games.

Round 6 results
A mixed bag this week. Skye defeated the Seniors, but the Reserve turned the tablers with a win. Endeavour Hill ran away with theor match against the Womens team.
The Netball A2 team triumphed over Caulfield, the other teams were no so lucky.
Round 5 results
Seniors had their first loss of the season, nopw with 4 from 5. Both Reserves and Women’s won theit matches. Big shout out to the women’s team for their breakthrough win.
Fan mail from proud dad
Proud parent Nick Gurry says the team keeps growing
TWiSK received this email from Nick Curry and we wanted to share is pride.
“Very proud to say that now our Hazel is following her 3 brothers passion, we have 4 Gurry siblings playing for St Kilda City JFC, along with their parents actively volunteering across as many as the 4 games on a Sunday as possible,” he wrote.

Round 4 results
Round 4 sees the Seniors Mens team with 4 wins from 4. The Reserves with 2 wins from 4. And the women are getting more competitive every round.
Round 2 results
2/3 in the football – the Women’s team putting together a strong game and unlucky not to get the W out at Officer while the Men’s teams now four wins from four games – a good start to the season!
The netballers went 3/5 with our A2 girls continuing to show their full court strength against a talented Edi-Asp side.
All back at home next weekend for Anzac round.
