Locals will have a ‘locals only’ chance to witness one of St Kilda’s most precious natural attractions when the St Kilda Penguins host special Local Community Days on Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August 2026. But hurry, tix are are available to be booked from Thursday 16 July!

Friday 31 July, 6pm and 7pm.
Saturday 1 August, 6pm and 7pm.
Bring proof of residency to the gate.
The event is open to residents of the City of Port Phillip, Bayside, Stonnington and Glen Eira, giving eligible households access to one penguin viewing session across the two-night program.
Sessions start at 6pm and 7pm each evening, with bookings limited to one session per household.
Attendees will need to show proof of residency on arrival, such as a driver’s licence, rates notice or utilities bill. Regular terms and conditions apply.
