Women’s footy rebooted at St Kilda City

St Kilda City are entering a women’s team in the the Southern Football and new players are invited to training on Wednesdays

St Kilda City Football and Netball Club are building a team for a red hot go in the exciting Southern Football women’s comp.

Training has started on Wednesday nights at the St Kilda City home base at Peanut Farm, in the heart of St Kilda.

And the story gets even better. Thanks to support from VicHealth, the uniforms are free and there are no membership fees in 2025.

Club President Mel Starr told TWiSK that training had already attracted a keen following and the players were gearing up for a practice match against Wyndham Vale on 22 March before the Southern league kicks off in April.
